Flare Sighting - Rousse Headland

Hidden

The St Peter Port Lifeboat was launched at 05:39 local time on Sunday 5th April following reports of a red flare sighting from Rousse Headland on the North-West of Guernsey.

The RNLB Spirit of Guernsey departed St Peter Port at 05:57 arriving on scene at 06:15 local time.

With nothing being found both ashore and at sea and no further information forthcoming, the Lifeboat was stood down and was back on station at St Peter Port from 08:19 local time.
