Balmoral is the largest of the four Fred Olsen ships and takes her name from the Scottish residence of the British Royal Family.
Despite her size, with 710 well-appointed rooms and suites, Balmoral is still small enough to navigate narrow waterways, such as the Kiel Canal, providing guests with some fantastic scenic cruising opportunities.
The Scottish theme runs throughout the ship with the names of all fine-dining restaurants being influenced by the Highlands; the Ballindalloch, Avon and Spey.
"Walking around downtown Guernsey was a blast.
....If you enjoy good food and drink in a tranquil but energetic setting, this is your place.
We would return here for a week's vacation!" June 2016 - Cruise Critic
