The prestigious award includes UK and British Isles ports, and Guernsey, the second-largest of the Channel Islands punches above its weight when it comes to cruise calls, with around 100 ships scheduled each year and a 20 percent boost in passengers. The island goes out of its way to welcome cruise passengers, with a newly built arrival area, free Wi-Fi and helpful greeters. It's also got a lot to offer in terms of festivals, history and beaches.
